Hi, I’m Zoey,
I'm a designer, storyteller, and mental health advocate using embroidery as a tool for self-love and self-expression. In response to a lifelong battle with Crohn’s Disease and anxiety, I turned to embroidery as a way to heal and never looked back.
I started The Thread Lab as a quiet way to cope, a way to say the things I needed to hear. What began as stitching little reminders for myself grew into a brand built on honesty, radical vulnerability, and showing up exactly as you are. Through playful designs and empowering phrases, I create wearable reminders that you are worthy, strong, and more than enough—just as you are. Because what you wear should say something. And more than that, it should say something true.
Each piece is machine-embroidered by me, in small batches, with intention stitched into every thread.
